 Cape Town. It has so many good choices of food and different restaurants like sushi bars and pizza places…

 AKA, Ballard, Kainoa and Roach.

How’s Cape Town been ?
Best Place in the world, and waves have been insane.
So much variety and some insanely talented underground boogies!!!

Which spots do you ride there and with who ?
 Lee Moran is the most amped guy I know here in CPT and whenever I can get some time off from selling good cars I call him, he’s surfs whenever there are waves and lives in the prime spot on the Peninsula.
I had Kalk Bay and Koel Bay insane this year, also some spots in the reserve with Dre Giovani and Mr Billy Miller.
Cape Town is so diverse and has so many waves, but you just gotta be dialled in to each swell direction and wind change and you can score some of the best waves sa has to offer.

How’s was the DK Wars SA at Long Beach ? 
 It was so much fun.
The waves were so much fun and it brought together some of the Best DK riders from SA.
It was a day that all the cpt Dk shredders young and old showed why we love dk.
So many Underground DK riders are in this country and this was the perfect platform to showcase the CT talent!

How was the vibes at DK Wars?
It was really cool, every one 
Was so stoked to be something purely DK, getting judged by your fellow peers and having a whole hour to just have fun was awesome.

When and where did you start body boarding ? 
Got my first board from Martin Potter when I was about 6, first wave I remember riding in front of my flat at the old west street fishing pier, loooooong time ago, where I grew up!

What was your first board ?
First real boogie was a BZ Pro Flyer with slick rails,lol…

What’s cool about bodyboarding ?
As Chris Won Said, “We Dont Need Training Wheels”.
If you watch the IBA World Tour live you would know how hardcore body boarding is and how hard we charge waves.

Where do you see the sport going in South Africa ?
 Bigger and Better!!!
This year will be very interesting…

North beach was the capital of South African bodyboarding back in the 90′s ?
What was so special about it ?
The fact that we had Marvy Sheean, The head lifegaurd of north beach, opening up the beach to bathing at 6:45 every morning.
That lovely sound of his voice telling the surfers to please go to Dairy or Bay of Plenty because bathing has just opened and only the body boarders could ride North Beach until 16:45.

Who were the top riders back in the day ?
 Gordon and Doug Cockwell, Jason Boddy back in 91 at long beach , lol , still bitter!
Billy Thiel and Sartorius, Nigel Tarboton and Alistair Taylor.

Which guys did you ride with there ?
All of the above.

What do you do besides bodyboarding ?
 Sell Cars, Learning Marketing, enjoying this Blessed Life and always giving thanks and praises
